During a taping of ESPN’s ‘The Blitz’, Tom Jackson finally snapped and broke Chris Berman’s neck with his bear hands. “I’m not sorry.â€? Jackson announced. “I had just had it with his false modesty and annoying antics. A man can only tolerate so much.â€? Berman was pronounced dead at the scene. “Back, back, back, this man is dead,” mocked emergency personelle Jeff Edwards. Mr. Jackson who was lead away by police was cheered by crewmembers of the show, “Thank you, Tom” many offered, tears of joy welling up in their eyes. Mr. Jackson was taken to the Bristol police department and was immediately released when they learned it was Chris Berman, Jackson had killed. “We don’t lock up heroes.â€? Sheriff Ray McKay said. “And that man, on and off the field, is a hero.â€? Sheriff McKay hopes that Michael Irvin will replace Berman as anchor on The Blitz.
